Activision announces that today it will be possible to prepare for the beta.
Activision has confirmed that today, July 13, it will be possible to preload Destiny 2 beta on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The beta will start next week (July 18th on PS4) but from now on you will be able to benefit by downloading the application that will give access to the trial version.
The news goes hand in hand with reports from some readers who have received the code via email to download the beta from the online stores they booked for the game.
We remind you that Destiny 2′s private beta will start on July 18 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox 19 on Xbox One for all those who have booked the game, and from July 21, the beta will become public and all those who have a PS4 or an Xbox One can try the new Bungie title.
The Destiny 2 beta will feature the campaign’s opening mission, “Homecoming”, a Strike called The Inverted Spire, two Crucible gametypes, “Countdown” and “Control” and, during latest hour of Beta, the access of social space “The Farm”. During the Beta testing, each Guardian class will have only one subclass: Arcstrider Hunter, Sentinel Titan and Dawnblade Warlock. All three of them are new for Destiny 2.
Without further extensions, the beta will end for everyone on July 23. Destiny 2 is scheduled for release on September 6 on PS4 and Xbox One and October 24 on PC.
